Mahoney Boat Launch, Is it open?

Looking to launch the boat this weekend and was wondering if any one has launch out of Mahoney yet on Shenango?  I know they like to keep the gate shut so no one can get in when the weather is crappy from time to time.  Any updates appreciate, thanks.
