Make a Snowman?

Hey Folks, I'm leaving in a few hours for my 7 hour drive to Erie. This will be my first time fishing the streams in significant snow. Any pointers? Does all this snow tent to blow out the streams? I heard the lower elk is producing a few fresh fish and by the looks of the cam at Uncle Johns,  water isn't too high. Thank You wise gentlemen.

Fish are all through the streams.  I couldn't see most of them but if the water looks "fishy" go for it.  Lower end will have more young smaller fish (but they fight hard) and upper end will have bigger but mostly older fish.  According to gauges elk and walnut are a bit high but fishable.  Snow shouldn't affect them too much.
I caught mine on jigs and sacs.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback. Ever have any luck jigging with a live minnow? I started experimenting jigging pink trout worms and live minnies last year with pretty good success

i dont mess with minnows very much unless someone else has them.  Ive caught steelies with them in the past but they're a pain in the butt especially cold weather/hands.
I jig with feathers or soft plastics.

Don't worry about live minnows, salted work just fine.
