SHENANGO LAKE

JUST WONDERING IF ANYBODY COULD GIVE ANY INFORMATION ON THE CONDITION OF THE LAKE. IS THERE ANY ICE OR IS IT MOSTLY OPEN. I KNOW I AM JUMPING THE GUN BUT I AM WANTING TO GET IN SOME EARLY SEASON CRAPPIE FISHING. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS

    Drove across it today (18 Bridge) and for the most part its pretty opened up.  Strong winds today probably helped alot.  Deff at least 2 foot rollers out there and alot of chop throughout the day.

    HEY THANKS A LOT BASS, I JUST CANT WAIT TO TRY FOR SOME SLABS. WE JUST NEED A LITTLE WARM WEATHER TO GET THEM STARTED

    Ice out was 03/12/2013. Water is coming up slowly. Very ruff today from the west winds. Praying for spring weather. Gary
