biggest fish of 2012

 I got a laugh to-day while I was reading the PFC home page & was checking out the biggest Channel Cats of 2012 in Pa. It was stated that a guy caught a very big Channel Cat in Lake Mead. Although it states on the site that fish are recorded on the "Honor System" it was recorded that  a guy caught one that was over 30# even though the girth was smaller & the length was about the same as the other 4 fish turned in. According to several charts that I have,with the dims stated it should have weighed about 10-11# like the others. But the part that caught my eye was that as for the bait he used, it said "Chicken Live" so I have to ask, was he using a Circle Hook with that flapping chicken?  lol   sam

    That list is pretty funny.  Some of the weights/lengths of those fish just don't jive at all.  How about the biggest flathead was caught out of Keystone State Park with a rooster tail.

    They were tearing it up on Bass Resource thanks to this Philly schmuck making a mockery of it all. Not that it matters, there are likely hundreds of qualifying fish covering every species caught annually that people wouldn't waste 5 minutes to report.

    this cat is 36 3/4 ''  measured, and we figure it to be about 17-22 lbs this fish had a nice gut, caught on 6 inch chub

    Just looked, that Philly guy had a great 2 weeks. He landed 3 huge largemouth, 2 smallmouth,a 40lbs flathead and a monster chain pickeral. Sure wished I was with him to watch. Legend!!!!!!!!...WF

    The two biggest eyes came from the Allegheny river. And a 46# carp on power bait at twin lakes. Interesting.

    Just looked, that Philly guy had a great 2 weeks. He landed 3 huge largemouth, 2 smallmouth,a 40lbs flathead and a monster chain pickeral. Sure wished I was with him to watch. Legend!!!!!!!!...WF

    Guessing he is either Noplacelikehome or a relative.  That guy can catch state record fish every single time out.

    I could possibly see a huge carp coming from twin lakes there's some pigs there, And if he's using orange power bait it was a sealed deal lol...   I had to chuckle when I saw the flathead from keystone state park though never knew they existed in there...  I wouldn't take much of those "awards" to heart half are probably fake or miss measured or a dream catch lol.
