Should probably figure out a date soon....peoples weekends in the summer are filling up quickly! Plus the sooner a date gets set the better the turn out might be..... August 17/18????

New guy on here, but I'd be in for a get together as well. I have a boat already and would likely be able to take two additional people out for perch depending on the date. August is really busy for me training and testing my dog, so has a date been set for this yet?

Just need someone to step up and organize this thing. Need a date, a place to have the fish fry afterward. Got to pit the captains with the fisher-people. Got to get a list going of what everyone is going to bring as far as food and stuff. Go on, grab that bull by the horns and git-er-dun...................................

The perch fishing is currently terrible...
On a side note, this board is broken up, its glory days are past...

Beg to differ. Was out sunday and got 2 limits in short time. Are you even fishing erie ? The perch school was 5 ft thick on the bottom in 62 ft. More doubles than i've ever had. If you aren't fishing for them, please dont post untrue comments on this board. The reputation here is bad enough already. Stop making it worse.

Well dang it...I'm going deeper on Wednesday. My wife and I spent Sunday between 52' and 59' and busted our butts to catch 40 or so 8" - 9" perch. We fished until 2:00 and finally gave up hopes of any limits. My buddy has been fishing out of Conneaut, OH and has been hammering the jumbos! Too long of a ride for me though.
Anyway, I'm still in, but I don't have time to organize it. The 24th is a no go for me though, but don't let that prevent you guys from setting it up on that day if need be. I can still take two out for perch on my boat.

I brought this up earlier and was told it was to early to plan anything and now we are near the end of august. I was hoping some of the people that were part of the one that happened a couple years ago would chime in. I am out now i have to much on my plate (Getting married in a couple months). I was hoping that we would have had a day set and i would have had an excuse lol. I wish i lived closer to erie and could have set this up myself, i do not know anyone up there or even how to go about it. This site has definitely changed over the years, but it is not as bad as some people make it out to be. Well there is always next year for the outing maybe it will happen then
