Sam as of 3pm today the lake is 90% open except for a small section at the back of the lake where the stream /bridge is. Thought about fishing for a while but decided against it due to the strong winds coming across the lake. I tried fishing the Yough near Conn a bit earlier but it was next to impossible to have any control in that wind. Bridgeport Dam is still totally iced over, too thin to walk on and too thick to throw through.

Wallycat, I hear you about the wind,I went Squirrel hunt. to-day. The rodents had more sense than me. Nada was moving.  sam

Sam, looks like Wednesday could be a good day for the tree rats, 40 degrees, and little to no wind. Might be a decent day for me to try the Yough again.

Walt, I just paid my dues to { The Jacobs Creek Watershed Assoc.} & got a beautiful winter scene photograph from Patty Miller of Greenlick, along with a list of activities that are planned for Greenlick this year. That picture is REALLY nice. Anyone intrested in helping out or getting more info can go to:  www.jacobscreekwatershed.org    sam

I just met Patty this past fall at the Scottdale Festaval, charming lady. Didn't realize there was an organization that took such an interest in that creek and surrounding waters.
