2 mile ice?

Hoping to head out there Saturday. Any reports of the ice?

    Was there today to watch them stock. One guy broke through the 2 1/2 inches of white ice that was there. You could watch the ice move as the other two guys on the ice were walking around. Only small brookies were stocked. Not worth the trip. Need lots of cold weather.

    To me this is what I thought the report pages were for .

    Fished Date : 2/ 18 / 2013
    Time : 0800  till 1330
    Location : NE of the beach
    Depth : 8ft to 28ft
    Bait : Northlands bloodworm , Sweed-pimp , Marmoska Tipped with wax worm
    Ice thickness : 8in to 4.5in , very clear and was making ice all day 
    Catch : Good but not great mixed bag

    It's for discussion about ice fishing... Hence the description 'for general discussion of hard water fishing'

    That's not what I said. I mean it's for both bs and reports... Geesh say one thing around here and everyone gets all riled up about it

    para the author of this post did not fish, therefore there is no fishing report.  He was asking about ice conditions, so he used the right forum.  The moderator on the reports page is constantly having to tell people to use that forum for fishing REPORTS only, and not to ask questions about conditiions, weather, or whether they should come up or not.
