I'll believe it when I see it. 6 degrees & snowing here in Cambria county.

How did the person who invented the first clock know what time it was?

No...sorry...'40s and '50s for second half of Feb according to most sources.....ice will be gone in a week and a half and we can get down to the real stuff again instead of gambling on being like we are Minnesota or something....winter fishing is a waste of 3 months of life around here!!! LOL..now let me have it ice lovers....

The fish don't stop hitting in the winter. If you're hiding indoors all winter. You're just short changing yourself. Besides, PA doesn't even get cold. There's no reason to be a chick about it.

Dnj me thinks you need to learn to fish the rivers to get your soft water winter fix.

"There's no reason to be a chick about it."...LOLOL..not a chick but just simply Australian and cannot get used to this weather...never saw 32 deg in my life until I came here! Cannot swim so the precarious ice we get around here is no good to me....so...yes I sit out the average winter gazing out at the miserable gray and white for months...except last winter...that was acceptable.....

Lolzzz. I hear ya. I have the same problem with summer. This is too far south for my taste. Once it gets to be above 65F I don't go outside if I can help it.
