If u want to catch the walleye this time of year at pyma jig sonars and cicadas. That will be ur best bet at catching them. Jamestown is the only side I'd fish. Good luck and if u have a fish finder look for the humps or steep drop offs.

How much ice is there? Probably only a skim.

I'm not sure on how thick the ice is. Fished high point last weekend. It was 6 to 8" of ice there and caught 7 pike and 3 perch. Right Erie definitely has more variety of larger fish but I like convience the accessiblity to walleye year at pymatuning.
