If the turn in time is in February  I am in.   Have  a busy next few weeks and a vacation coming up in 2 weeks.  Should we post what we are going to tie or leave it a surprise.

    Fly swap deatails:
My goal is to have all participants submit their flies by Friday, February 22, 2013.  This provides ample time to tie, ship and receive swap packages prior to the Spring run.
Patterns suggested, but not limited to, are ESL's, Stones, Nymphs, Caddis Pupas & Larvas, Streamers.
Indicate what you are tying if you so please but not mandatory.
I will set the number of flies to be tied when I know how many are participating.
    Declaration date January 18, 2013 @2000 hours.

Only one pattern will suffice but if you would like to tie more be my guest.  Last year I tied close to 100 additional veiled eggs and sucker spawn.

Sorry, Tuna, but I can't get 18 flies tied for myself in a month anymore, and I've got a backlog if I want to fish this spring and summer.  And with Panorama Outfitters gone, I'm disconnected from material supply unless I get to Pulaski or half way to Buffalo.

Found some time watching the SU game after work  and finished  up  the blue and the  green Steelhead caddis.   Next moving to a  pink and light blue hammer and possibly some of a new style stone I have been working on.   I should end up with 3 patterns with 2 different colors per pattern.   I am hoping to do 36 flies total

HE HE HE !!!!   Off to All Seasons to spend my $20 gift certificate on  mostly hooks and a few materials.

    PS
I brought my wallet  I am sure to run over.

    EDIT

Well I got out of there for just under $40    before the $20 gift certificate,   so I did not do that bad.   Most of the $$ on hooks.    $7.99  for 50 hooks.  I have starting using Mustad hooks.    I use the C68 for Caddis and eggs and the 3906B for stones, hares ear ect.   Found they are strong  and sharp.  Got some other odds and ends.   Dubbing, red wire,  beads and some smaller hackle feathers  from the bargain bin

Jack I have not.. Just walked in from a pretty cold day on ice and thawing things out for another tomorrow.. Gosh I love this weather..

I think I am going to make 1 tie a salmon fly, most likely bunny strip.
Another will be a steelhead streamer, got some ideas but not nailed down yet.  The last one ?? Maybe one of those articulating bead creations I came up with this fall that worked well..

In any case they will be a last min. pound em out ties.. Too much fishing to be had right now... I see the wife enough when I lay my head down to rest.. (ribbin ya 2bob).. lol
    I'm beat right now..

Jack, I wouldn't be too concerned about duplicating a pattern since everyone has their own tying style.  Sort of like making a pot of gravy.  Give six people the same exact ingredients and you'll have six different results.

I'll stop in again next fall.

1: Salmon Fly- Bunny leech in Pink  size 4 ( Pink rocks)
2: Steelhead streamer- Little Rainbow trout size 6 (catches everything)
3: Articulating cheap bead creation  size 8 ( My Chitty fly but catches fish )..

    Lets sink them soon ..
