Is anyone thinking about going out to the big show in Lancaster next month? Ive been to it in Denver, I know its the same circuit but I dont know how big it is in PA.

I skipped the fly tying symposium in November, and was considering attending Somerset...not sure if I will or not...might try to do Lancaster instead.

Plan on going to the Somerset show but even though the Lancaster show is only 15 minutes from home - I'll be skipping that one. Much smaller event and in my mind - not worth the $.

Thanks for the info on this one....i did go back and check out some of the comments from last year.  Doesn't really seem worthwhile unless you live nearby.

No, I haven't.  I'm not booking any big trips.  Not buying the newest gadget.  Not interested in watching people tie classic salmon patterns of spin deer hair into mice, so what is there for a guy like me at a show like that?

For me, the minor benefits of a huge show like that are not enough to travel that far.  Although, that one is huge, and I've heard it's fun.  I know enough people working booths at that one that I'd probably have a good time, but it would be drinking beers & having laughs with friends kind of good times more than fishing related.

If you don't know what the internet is... it would be great
but i don't see any amazing deals other than 4yr old backstock

There are a ton of people and its good to reconnect

I heard they want to outlaw snaggers, lead and do away with leaders of more than 10 feet. i wonder if vendors are going to boycott?
