Does anybody know if you need a boat permit to launch at leetsdale? Last year the lady at the office said we'd be contacted but I haven't heard anything yet.

Muskefisher, earlier in the year someone asked the same question, I believe, the answer was not this year because they were going to repair the launch sight. Anybody else out there remember this. John

Last year no permit required,I'd imagie the same for this year. The avenue leading to the launch has been resurfaced, but the lot and the launch have not been touched.

i eat walleyes out of the mon river all the time i don't fill the rivers are as dirty as people think

I would eat a walleye out of the alleghney. Lake Erie has more restrictions on fish consumption warnings then the alleghney maybe not the ohio though that river is getting worse...

Ohio, Allegheny, Erie, it doesn't matter. A sandwich is a sandwich. Think about what that ****Mcmeal has gone through before you chowed down on it. If that fish is alive it can't be that bad. 'Course I smoke like a tribe of indians and drink like a fish so I'm not worried about it. I think you got a better chance of getting killed in a car crash by some dumas on a cell phone.

Whats the Allegheny look like at Highland Park is the water clearing up? The Mon down here is still pretty murky, I'd like to head up that way (Highland Park) this weekend. Looks like we have a bit of a January thaw heading our way.

Didn't see anyone fishin it this afternoon. It still was on the murky side but fishable. It's gettin down near single digits tonight  . Should be ok this weekend.
