Warm Spell?

Looks like we have some 40Deg weather coming next week. And rain. I hope I don't lose my ice season before I get a chance to go out. Rain will kill the ice.

    I hope it just helps burn the snow and junk down an after that freeze up nice haha. Gotta stay hopeful

    It depends on how much rain we get. With the night time lows still below freezing it could help like topwaterking said. If we get a massive downpour then yes it'll kill our season again like last year, but a light rain will help.

    The worst day hunting or fishing will always be better then the best day at school or work!

    How's it going to kill our season...... it's only the first week of jan. Got two months left.

    cause that is exactly what happened last year. It would rain and melt the ice and we never had it freeze solid to get out on.

    Not looking good as of yet , the cold weather I thought things were going to shape up for us but mother nature said no , no and here comes the warm spell.
