Intro into Fox Hunting

I've been watching  Foxpro Furtakers on TV and I'm interested in it. They had an episode where they hunted foxes in Pa with a rifle, but I'm thinking of using a shotgun because it's what I have to work with. I've been seeing a lot of foxes crossing the roads at night and I was wondering how much can I get for a fox/coyote hide now? I have 2 great nephews that I'm going to take out next year and I think it'll be great for them too. Thanks

U won't get much for a hide if u shoot it wit a shoty who wants a coat with holes in it but red and grays are a good 40$+ if done up correctly

I'd rather be lucky then good, but im to good to be lucky

I live in southwest PA near New Stanton and wondering if there is anywhere to take raw furs to in this area, or even the entire carcus?

Have a vague memory that there was one around Crabtree somewhere.  It's been many years since I was past it, but I seem to remember one out that way somewhere near Carbone's Restaurant which is on 119 a couple miles south of 22.  Seem to think that it was on the road that comes off of 119 at Carbone's and heads east towards Latrobe - maybe Crabtree/Latrobe Road?

Started huntin Fox as a 10 year old kid over 50 years ago with Gramp. We ran a Redbone on Fox during the day and Bluetic on Coon at night.
Trapped them a bit years later- not as much fun as raceing hounds though.
Even  back then a decent Fox could get 8 bucks or so. Minimum wage was bout a buck so that was a score.
Sorry -gettin old and digress now and then- lol

Thank you all for your responses. DOCTO Thanks for the insight. I never thought about some of that you said, especially the mobile meth lab. I've never heard of one around here.
