What is on your fishing christmas list? What is your fishing New Years Resolution
For obvious reasons, the forum has been slow the past few days. So I decided to start a new topic that hopefully will be drama free.
On my christmas list there is not much. At some point I'd like to get new nice waders. I have a pair of field and stream waders from d-icks and quite frankly they have holes in them.
Also on the agenda would be a nice attachable net for wading.
And the various lures are always nice stocking stuffers...especially those rediculous $9 pin minnows from Yozuri.
As for new years resolutions:
Really learn how to trout fish
Float the yough and the allegheny, and catch tons of smallies in the process
Figure out a good spot on the conamaugh.
Find more deep spots on the cassellman
And if im lucky, fish for smallies on erie for the first time

A new Ultra Light Rod & Reel Combo, since I recently got into pan fishing, and really enjoy it. Also A Nice new pair of waders.
- the wife usually fills the stocking with a lot of fishing stuff, so i'm looking forward to seeing what's inside this year.

For x-mas i would like a 3 day hall pass, so I can head out of state somewhere to do some major bass fishing.
NY resolution
Get up to elk for some march steelies
Learn to fish for eyes on Pyma in later april and may
and get back up to erie for some more summer smallies 2 or 3 times.

A 7ft ultralight. Also a Falcon rod for a Quantum reel that I got such a good deal that I practically stole it.
New Years resolution= Learn how to bass fish better.

Christmas list-A nice pair of waders and a two clear plano waterproof cases. One filled with bass gear and the other filled with waleye gear.
New Years resolution- I'd love to learn how to fly fish and I really wanna go back to Canada again like last year. But maybe this time it won't be 95 degrees up there...

Christmas list- goretex wading jacket and a fishhawk x4
NY resolution - to fish my **** off! I want to make a trip to port clinton early on for some huge eyes, then a trip to lake ontario for some salmon, then of coarse every other weekend will be chasing lake trout, walleye and steelhead on Erie. Then on the weekdays I'd like to musky fish as often as possible...

Figure out a good spot on the conamaugh.
I just started fishing up there, nice area, haven't had much luck yet. Let me know when you find a good spot  For Christmas: - Hoping for some quality cold weather gear so I can take the yak out more this winter - A new ML spinning setup NY's resolution: - Stop buying 'the next best thing' gear/lure wise. I know what I like to throw and what works for me - Spend more time on the local rivers and figure them out better

Christmas list- a few Hot-N-Tots in the fire tiger color to replace the one i lost to a musky on the mon.
Resolution- although i really dont make resolutions, i think i would like to get out and fish more this next year.
