Well I grew up in Beaver County and when deer season came around we headed for the MNTS to hunt we saw plenty of deer but a nice buck was far and few between.  Times have changed and Beaver and surrouding Countys now have plenty of deer and nice  bucks to boot.  I hat eto say it but you have to adapt and move south and scout to have success these days.  I do beleive that the deer population in the North will improve in the next 5 years or so but numbers are going to stay low especailly now that the coyotes have made PA there home.
