LMAO D-nymph, very good! I don't have a reasonable theory about what kind of fish it is because the bright yellow belly throws me off. Sure would look nice in an aquarium with 3-4 more though!

If it's still laying on that rock, I'd name him carcus. Even mature lake run Browns will be quite silver early in the summer. The NY state record was almost mistaken for, and filled as a "chrome" King. Aside from that. I'd call it. "sMaLl DuUd"

^ I agree. Pink salmon would be my best guess, and it's definitely wild since they haven't been stocked in the great lakes in a long time. Sweet catch. edit: Just thought of this, wouldn't it be kinda late for a pink salmon? If it isn't a pink, I would vote very weird rare colored steelie. I don't think it's a brown.

I tried looking up a juvenile pink female and none of them had yellow on them. I'm not arguing. I'm just sayin'. I have no idea what it is. TD, did you catch those pinks that you posted? I've always wanted to catch one. They are really cool lookin' fish.

I just thought I'd let everyone know, that I contacted an Ohio regional fish biologist and his best judgement by all the pictures I sent him is that it was a juvenile Coho Salmon. He explained that he reached this verdict by the lower anal fin size, shape and number of spines. Still not 100% sure without the carcus of the actual fish that was released... Thanks guys.

HAHA That made me laugh because I found myself listening to the song very loud (to stay alert) a trip ago. Everyone likes a littel J.C.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
