Today 10/31/12

Want to get at one bad.......
I am feeling sick tomorrow and am going to hit it.
Anyone want to help me decide.  Need not be that specific.  Pineville???  Altmar????  In town????  Just having trouble deciding.  PM if you want.
I know on other sites I would be drawn and quartered for asking.
Clint

Only one way to cure that disease Clint---
Guy I worked with did it once and got his picture in the paper with a biggun----OUCH.
A year to the day he did it again and got his picture in the background on the front page- seems the Governor was fishing too and when the took his photo my friend was there - bigger OUCH.

Well it has been raining ALL night, not hard  but steady just above a sprinkle.  Enough to put the trip off for a few hours as it is supposed to stop mid morning.  I prefer not to fish in the rain, last thing I need is to get sick and miss work...... I mean fishing

This one had a weird brown rash on the bottom and was overall dark

    This was a lucky break

Well here is the skinny on my day.  Stayed home a little longer due to the rain.  Got to the river at 8.  I fished down from where Charlie, HT and Gerry fished for salmon  earlier this year.  No luck for the first while on blue and Oregon, sucker spawn,  Moved to pink estaz and no luck.  I switched to a very small peach egg with a bead above it and it was game on.  I went 3 for 5 with 2 browns and a steel, along with 4 palm size rainbows/steel,  one steel  I lost trying to tail it..  Browns were spawning and that's what they were feeding on.  On the way back to the car I see a brown that has passed on and in the water.  It was very fresh and not even stiff yet.   I brought it home and took the eggs.  Meat looked good, but did not dare eat it.  Made a good treat for the barn cats.

Those steel were the most acrobatic I have seen.  I seemed like  they came out of the water 10 times and jumped 3 feet in the air.  It was a site to watch.

One boat passed and he said  he did ok up in town,  but not so well after the trestle, he hooked up 100 yards down from us.
