FYI

Today, my professor, a couple of guys from Sea Grant, and myself did some elctro fishing (legal with collector's permit) to obtain some brown bullheads for research.  No worries, we used very very low voltage and all of the fish were stunned for a couple of seconds and then swam away without damage.  I really looked like the bay/peninsula fishery is pretty healthy.  We saw a lot of different species and high numbers of them.  I even saw some fish species in places that I did not expect.  If you would like some more details on what we saw, please feel free to PM me.

    at Walnut last week electrofishing

That would be EPIC.  Shocking's the new snagging.  Sorry, just had to do it lol

On a more serious note, I saw the electrofishing results done in PIB by the PFBC and yeah the bay does seem pretty healthy.  One thing I found surprising was there were more spotted gar found than longnose gar.
