A Fisherman's Prayer

First, a pic, since we haven't seen too many of these yet this year.
Second, maybe some of you have seen the old Fisherman's Prayer:
God, grant that I may live to fish
until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray
When in the Lord's safe landing net
I'm peacefully asleep,
that in His mercy I be judged
big enough to keep.
It's a fun little prayer.  It was also fun to think about how it could be rewritten for those of us who release our fish:
God, grant that I may find time to fish
Along life’s busy way
And when it comes time to cast
Then I most humbly pray
That I sense the Good Lord’s presence
So my struggling, it can cease
And by his grace and mercy
Find the freedom of release.

    I like it
