I've heard 8 million different stories about that dead buck. Can you confirm this for me? It's starting to get irritating. That is an absolute giant.

That's crazy that the first buck was hit in front of your house. It was also hit down the road from me about two weeks ago just outside of Pittsburgh. Then it was hit again last week in State College, Johnstown, Washington, and then again over in Lancaster. He sure gets around well for having been hit by a vehicle that many times

Ha...that's funny. I saw it fairly close taking my daughter to school that morning, although I didn't take the picture. My neighbor moved it off the road.

I'm going to distance myself a bit from my statement that the first deer was the one that got hit by my house as I don't have a first person verification. About 3 weeks ago I was driving my oldest to Corry high school first thing in the morning. About 150 yards from my house a bunch of cars were pulled over and a bunch of guys were standing around...I figured a fender bender, or maybe just workers that were working on a hatchery near here. As I drove by, I saw that everyone was standing over a HUGE buck on the other side of the road. I had a bunch of cars behind me and a guard rail on my side, so I couldn't pull over...I figured I'd check it out on my way back home. By the time I got back the buck and entourage was gone. A week later my neighbor asked me if I saw the huge buck that got hit in front of my house and I told him that I had seen a glimpse of it as I was driving by and he showed me his cell phone. My first inclination was the buck on the road's spread that I had seen was wider than the one in the picture, but I didn't get that good of a look at it. I had him forward the cell phone picture to me. I just asked him if he took the picture and he said another person (also somewhat of a neighbor) had sent it to him. I have a text out to the other neighbor that was gawking at the deer in the road as I drove by and pulled him off the road, but haven't been able to verify it with him yet. Even if this IS the legitimate picture, I should have known better than to post second hand pictures without verification. Mea culpa.

Thought the top pic was circulated last year, too, but I could be mistaken. Either way, I would have let him grow another year if he walked by my stand!

If you really want to verify it, im sure you can dig up some old posts on archery forums/huntingpa and see that, that pic has been going around for years. I as well heard it was hit in a few different states and about every county in PA.
The Lord has blessed us all today... It's just that he has been particularly good to me.

No it was hit in my front yard last year HaHa .You can't believe much on the net. Great buck but not hit in front of your house. Last year my cousin said his best friend picked it up near Slippery Rock.
