How are the numbers of Steelhead staging in the river mouths. Planning a possible trip this weekend if the weather holds.

If thee "peeps" post a report. Same location, same day, same general time. #1 says no fish seen. #2 says very few fish seen. #3 says good numbers of fish seen.
Maybe 1 of them is "lying". Maybe 2 of them are "lying". Maybe all three.

Here's the deal. It's steelhead season. Sort of. Well, the beginning of it anyway. Every year at this time fish are in the lower part of the streams. Just about always. Now you won't have to ask next year when you log back on.

The fiance and I made the 5 hour drive on Friday and were not disappointed. Lots of hook ups and together we landed twelve. Even got two up above the stop sign hole. Got a nice brownie too. Im going to try and attach pics

Lundking Those headlamps r AWEZOME. I got a headlamp for fishing a couple weeks ago. Last year I got caught over a mile downstream at pitch dark with no light, because fish were hammering and I couldn't bring myself to leave the honey hole until I couldn't see. Needless to say it wasn't a fun walk out, not going to happen this year. The one I got has a really powerful spotlight, a less powerful spotlight, a flood light, and an infrared light. It's brighter than any flashlight I have and smaller and lighter too.
