Whats your suggestion for fall bass and Walleye spots?

This will be the first year that I'll have my boat available in the fall for fishing, the summer was way too hot to get my fill of boating. I've been fishing the Mon but I'm not opposed to Yough Lake, Erie Bay, Stonewall, or Tygert. What's you suggestion and how long into the fall do you fish them? OH, BTW, 50hp which limits me.

I'll be doing some Steelhead fishing the first two weekends in November in Erie, wonder if it would be worth my while to take the boat for some Erie bay fishing?

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

I fished walleye in the river all through last winter from shore, did fairly well. Steel can be caught in the bay or outside creek mouths from a boat in the fall as well. I personally have little experience in the other waters you mentioned.

You might want to try Lock 3 on the Allegheny for 'eyes. In my experience,  we caught a ton of saugers anywhere near the dam, but caught more 'eyes down by the islands  from October-January.

I am also partial to the Lock 3/Harmar area if fishing the river for fall walleyes. So I agree with Fish5000, saugers are definitely more prevelant but the walleye fishing is usally pretty good as well.
