lower twin

Took a ride there this afternoon & was surprised to see the weeds sticking up above the water near the boathouse & towards the middle. Never seen it that bad.Only part of the wall that was treated was clear. The state is supposed to stock trout the first week in Oct. & then they will lower the water level over the winter to try to clear some of the weeds. You can easily see the weed beds that we fish over in the winter now.  sam

    Sure is weedy this year. I targeted bass w my flea pole there a couple weeks ago, was surprised how few I saw, they must be deep down in that stuff. Only got one to eat my popper, bout a half doz other follows though. They didn't like my worm flies I made though, I was hoping they'd work well. I probably would have done better from a boat fishing the deeper weed edges.
