Crooked Creek Lake

Anyone have any comments on crooked creek lake?  Good bass fishin there? What do you use?

    Crappie fishing used to be good there... Never really targeted bass there but always catch a few. I've caught them on minnows and bass colored cranks. There's very little weeds in the lake, and the big ones I've seen in summer in the past have been holding close to trees laid down into the water. Not a lot of options for shore fishers either.
