Weight estimate for a bass

Caught this big guy yesterday in Clearfield County.  Anyone have a weight estimate?  Didn't have a scale with me.  Don't know the length either.

I know you said you didn't get a length, but take some measurements of something in the pic - your arm, wrist, etc - and take a guess.

    Then use this: http://fishandboat.com/im...hin1/weightlength3.pdf

Just an estimate thing, but should give you a good idea

    I agree. I'd say 3-3.5lb. Nice fish

Definately in the 3-4 lb range.
Looks like it's mouth/jaw is deformed or wasn't handled too gently if previously caught.

    About 3 pounds I'd guess.

thanks guys - just got into fishing 2 years ago and it's my biggest bass so i was proud of it.  i was thinking somewhere around 3-3.5.  wanted to get it back in the water and didn't get a chance to measure it.

knew i had a decent one on and then it jumped out of the water, pretty awesome.

Awesome mp, congrats. I almost always catch my biggest fish without a measuring tape... I have a few rods that I have marked up with a sharpie, for a somewhat accurate measuring device. Not going to give you a weight though. I have a digital scale and a bogo grip style scale, and maybe used each 2-3 times... Never remember when in the excitement.
