Out on the Edward John

Leaving in about a half hour for an evening on the EJ.  For as long as I have lived and fished in Erie this will be a first for me. With Danny heading back to college in 3 weeks we figured this would be the time to do it.

I've been wanting to take my dad and father inlaw out.  A bit longer drive for me though...

Well we certainly did have a good time. We could have caught or limit, but we stopped at 20 apiece. Enjoyed the whole trip. What is great is watching the old timers up front out fish everyone. I did a lot of watching and a lot of mental note taking.

Sometimes it aint about the fishin. I always enjoy the company of my elders.

I don't always snag fish, but when I do...
    I choose Little Cleos

I'm the best looking smartest snagging poacher alive...

+1 Nothing like listening to the older generation tell stories. So much to learn. These men are very often willing to divulge a lifetime's worth of experience, but sadly many young men are too arrogant to shut up and listen.

Glad you had a good time!
