fish the lake or the bay ?

I have a 16 foot tri hull with a 60 hp. I was thinking about heading to erie my plan was to put in the bay and if the lake was calm scoot out for a bit, any thoughts information or advice ? how is the fishing in the bay ?

    there sure is a lot of em for sale. lol in fact thats were i got mine its not a bad little boat

    Wanna fish, Alot of guy's fish the Lake with a 16ft. Many years ago I fished it alot with a 17ft. You just got to go out when the Lake is pretty calm and watch the weather. Because it can change quick and take you a loooong time to go a few of miles, when your front end is bang'n and all the screws are comming loose. Good Luck!

    thanks split shot i did but a marine radio to hopefully get a little notice to scurry back to the bay lol i heard that with screws bangin loose
