Eye fishin w/ lovgren69 and Esox Hunter - 07/06/12

Thanks again gentlemen for the invite.  Couldn't have asked for a nicer day or better company.  Hope to get a chance to do it again sometime.
 
Hit the road at 2AM from my house in Hempfield for the scheduled 5AM launch.  Made it with time to spare so I tried to catch a few Z's in the lot.  
 
Waves 1' or less made for a leisurely, comfy ride out to the numbers Chris and Matt scouted out the previous evening.  Get the program in the water in short order and it doesn't take long for the steady pick to begin.  As long as we hit our line we had steady bites.  Ended up dropping a ticket or so worth of eyes through the day but if we hadn't of dropped some of those early fish, we might not have boated some of the bigger ones that came to net later in the day.

    It's a beautiful thing when ya need a second box for dead stuff to bleed in...nice work.

    nice mess of fish, glad you had a good day. If they only fought better while trolling, i'd fish for them and steel alone.
