Lost Trolling Rod

We lost a rod today. It is a grey Okuma with a line counting reel. It can be identified by the hot pink husky jerk tied to the end. We were approximately 8 miles north of Walnut creek. If you find it...reward will be offered.

On a good note, me and Worm filled the box(es) again today.

"Controlled Chaos" is what we call it....I love that sheet!

I don't eat fish...so I passed out fillets to my neighbors...they're eatin' good in my neighborhood.

God Blessed me, my bud, and my block today...I'm grateful.

    Nice fish Slick.

Thankfully I have never lost a rod, although I have come close to it quite a few times.

Jealous? Oh yes, I am. I did dishes today. Swept floors. Mowed grass. You caught walleye and gave them away. Don't mind me. I'm going to go sulk now...

Lake looks better than it did on Saturday... We had 2 chum lines running...
Did catch a 31" beast though, successful trip for the first outing of the year...

Curiosity killed the cat, but for awhile I was a suspect.

Lost Rod? Sounds like an interesting story...

I "lost" a perch rod once, the wife threw it in the lake... she hasn't been on the boat since...

Trying to net a fish, the handle blew out a rod that was on the seat from the previous fish.

This was the first major casualty, other than a couple of balls of line, that were caused by the three rod rule.  Friday night was the first time I ever saw 5 rods go all at one time (4 walleye and a white bass) with only two guys to drive the boat, reel (lots of it with LC) net, cooler and untangle.
The combo didn't have 10 trips on it, so I'm a bit bummed, but would gladly donate a rod to the lake in trade for all of the great fishing we have been having.  On the other hand, we managed to get the rest with only five rods in fairly short order, which makes a guy tend to forget trivial things such as lost equipment.  I have now donated 5 combos to the lake in the past several years due to a variety of silly reasons.  This was the first time with a net handle.w_w.

Funny! LOL! Well, my wife has been sick lately and my little boy is not doing so well either. Between taking my little man to the hospital and Dr. offices, as well as pysical therapy, she's getting run down. So, I opted to stay home on the weekend and take care of the house and kids while she slept. I don't regret helping out. I just regret that I couldn't fish AND help out! LOL! Not enough hours in the day. Know what I mean?

Yep...that's a different story.   Put that turkey pot pie on hold...get your family well...wally will be around for awhile.
