Perching

Well we took the "new to me boat" out for its first run on the big pond on Friday, couldnt have asked for a nicer day to do it.   We went out of the East Ave launch and about 2 miles off the point.  Picked up a few dinks and then the big red boat came by.  We followed her for awhile and would anchor when she did and we still didnt catch them.  On a different note some people like to anchor pretty close to that boat.  We stayed about 50 to 100 yards away just to giver her space.  But some people would be close enough to tie off.  All in all in was a fun day on the water but only brought home a handful of perch

Glad you got the boat out and everything went according to plan , other than the few perch boated. You were obviously in the wrong spot

i heard they caught some west but i wasnt running down as far as i was hearing.  I wanted to go east to the cribs and should have stuck to my gut instead of following the "big red boat"
