Donegal Lake Help

Donegal Lake
I haven't fished there for years. It was mostly for Trout but I remember stumbling on some Walleye, Perch and nice Bass. We used to launch and go left towards the dam. Any help with what to use and where would be greatly appreciated. I've heard stories of Muskies being in there. I fish for anything that will bite. Thanks!!!

I fished there last month. Caught some nice trout. Big bluegill and seen a huge largemouth but didn't catch any bass. The PA Fish Comm. used to stock tiger musky but I read that they have since stopped the musky program.

If you are after bass, the right side of the ramp is better(shallower & weedy) also the shoreline opposite the ramp is good for bass also.IMO  sam

Its a typical electric only boat ramp: shallow. I usually put on a pair of hip waders if I dont want to get wet to get the boat up on the trailer. I put a cheap fish finder on my boat just to know the depth and it has helped out a whole lot.

That's a shame all the electric motor lacks you have to put your truck and trailer in the water. Then sometimes you still have to wrestle it off. Getting it back on your trailer can be even tougher, ecspecially in the dark. Greenlick, Virgin Run and a couple others I have a little trouble when the water is down.
