Just Curious?

I was out at the First Niagra pavillion tonight in burgettstown. I am just curious since I have always noticed this but never really knew anything about it but the lake that if on your right as you pull into the parking lot ( I am guessing by the old name that is star lake) has anyone fished there? I am just wondering what kind of fishing there is there and also I noticed there are some nice small lakes or ponds right in that area just wondering if anyone has fished the area and could give me some info.

I fished Star Lake once, when it was still called Star Lake Amphitheater (I think) which must have been 17 years ago. It was private then, I'm sure it's still private now. We maybe got an hour in before a security guard came down and kicked us out. But we saw huge bass cruising around. Huge to us at the time anyway, probably over 5 pounds I'd guess.

We caught a few before getting booted but none of the big ones. I think we also saw a few big carp can't remember now. Never tried it again. I don't remember any other ponds around there.

ive snuck into there twice.  the first time was long ago, as misterz saind, when it was still called "star lake."  Believe it or not we got a canoe in there and fished for 3 hours.  Caught some nice bass.  This was before security was tight there on non-concert days.
I tried again a couple years ago, but security kicked me out within 5 minutes.

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

thanks for the replies I was just curious because it looked like a pretty decent spot. who owns it? I am wondering why it matters so much if ppl fish there I was thinking of taking a little drive and trying it out but I guess that's out the window I'm always up for some good bass fishing.

When I was looking on google maps for the name of the lake I saw that there was one right behind pepsi cola roadhouse as well it looked like it could be good is it public or private? Also on the map I saw a few other spots in the area it looked like there was one right behind where they have the stage at first niagra pavillion (star lake). The area looks to be pretty decent for little spots. I know raccoon is right out that way I just never had any real luck at raccoon I feel like I do better at smaller places.

I might have to head out that way sometime and try them out I always liked finding new little spots to fish especially if there are some nice bass in them I always enjoy catching largemouth.
