Need some advice Big game fish

I currently have a Med action ugly stick and a nice Real not sure what model it is. I got them both at gander mountain when I lived up and Las Vegas.  its time to lean how to fish for Northern pike-muskie, and catfish. I would love to learn how to set up a rig use with Blue gill or Chubs  even night crawlers.  I can get a better Rod if I need to I just don't know how to  set up the Rigs to fish for Muskie  or pike Some dude told me best way was a slip bobber. Any tips would be welcome.

But Ill  try to use some of my Rapalas Not sure if my  6 lb trillion will handle a pike. I got 12 lb on my other rod but its a cheap rod so it might break  lol

If you want to catch pike just go to conneaut lake and fish the bays with spinnerbaits with a large trailer.  We were musky fishing there the past 2 days and seen probably 40 of the little guys going after our large jerkbaits and plugs I managed to land a 37 inch pike.

just depends on how deep they take the hook ... iv only started to catch them the last two years mostly unintentionally but all i use is a medium action pole with 6-8 pound line

Union city dam has good pike I know I can catch them there but I have trouble walking down that big hill.  We got a hold of some monster grass pike there last year  the water level was very low and it smelled like crap too lol
