PHWFF What a Week
As many of you know we sent 2 of our PHWFF Participants down to Gods Country for the Jason Dunham memorial fishing event last week....
Here is a little bit of what went on..
Monday the 2 participants met Dano and I at Brians Camp for a little wild trout fishing
Tuesday after a good Camp breakfast we headed to Ceres NY To meet up with the other participants for a Motorcade down through Coudersport..
On the way we stopped and met up with about 60 members of some of the local bike clubs they escorted us the rest of the way to the First Fork Lodge
All along the Motorcade route the local residents were waving and saluting us
Once we arrived at the Lodge we presented Dan and Deb Dunham with the artwork created by our own Tom Herr. Tom had written a letter to the Dunhams that Ray read to the crowd. Not a dry eye in the crowd.
Wed Morning the guys gathered on the porch at the Lodge for a quick casting lesson. After the lesson they all went to the Big Moores Fishing Preserve for a morning of fishing
Then we headed to the Austin Costello sportsman club for a great feast prepared my the Legion ladies Auxiliary
After our afternoon feast the guys had a fly tying session led my Dr. Pete Ryan
