Yough River in Dawson

I fished there for the first time this past weekend, down below Phils Nite Club along the railroad tracks. Caught two smallies and a crappie on crawlers but no hits on chicken liver. Anyone know where I can hook into some cats or carp in that part of the river? I'm a catch and release fishermen so no worries about me pulling all the fish out.
