keystone state park lake
Does anyone on this site have accurate info as to what kind of fish that Cabela's tagged & put in the lake for thier contest? How many tags? I signed up on line just in case, although I seldom fish there. Know of any locals that caught one? thanks sam

No idea but if it's in that lake I'd assume it's something that's not to likely to bite here in the warm water months.

Ed, Have I ever lead you wrong? According to the Cabela's contest notification, listed on the PFC home page, Keystone State Park, located near New Alexanderia is the only water in Westm'd Cnty that have the tagged fish. I could not find what fish or how many were tagged. sam

they probably keep the specifics of the contest a secret. i was trying to see if i could find last winners and what they caught but didnt see anything on the Cabelas website. my guess they probably stocked trout or bass.

Ryan,My thoughts are that since Bass & trout both have closed seasons, that they would not tag them, but it has been very quiet. sam

keystone lake was stocked with multiple species of tagged fish they dont tell you what kind. the rules state if you catch a tagged fish that you must take a piture of the fish with the tag on it before releasing the fish so i wouldnt rule any fish out even if they have a closed season. Their not gonna put a million dollar tag on some stupid alpo raised trout
