Go Fish

Going to Erie this weekend to find the smallies anybody have any information on water temp in Presque Isle. If the smallies are still in the bay and ready to eat

    Last temp reading I heard was through a friend from mid-week last week - 57-58. Don't know if that was surface in the Bay or on main lake just outside PIB.

    As far as still in the Bay? I didn't find many but there were a few posts from people who did: http://forums.fishusa.com/bay_smallmouth_activity/m_474903/tm.htm

    I don't know why they wouldn't still be in there. I caught them through late June in the Bay last year. Even a few stragglers in July, but of course the lake was much better than.

    UP at Presque Isle Fishing wtr temps are 65-70 still some smallies in the bay on beds. biggest caught about 3 LB. Wtr is a litte cloudy not getting big numbers of fish but enough not to leave
