Pymy fishing report

Hoping to fish Pymy on Saturday. I have not seen any fishing reports lately. How has the crappie and walleye action been lately? Thanks.

New to site, but keep my eye on it daily. Thought I would contribute. Weeds have been the ticket for me at the moment. Slip bobbers, tiny jigs w/ 1/2 crawler. And also casting jigs w/ 1/2 crawler or just plain w/ twister works.

I fished there yesterday out of Linesville, did pretty good, came home with about 15 Crappie only 2 of them under 12 inches and threw back as many as I kept. Caught my first walleye, (14 inches too small to keep) and lost a another nice leagal eye at the boat trying to net him. Also boated about 6 or 8 catfish and 4 nice perch.
Only down sides to the day were none of my fishing buddies were free to join me so I was on my own (that can be nice sometimes though) I forgot my sunglasses in the truck, and didn't think to put on sunscreen so by the end of the day i was good and burnt and had a killer headache.
Anyways fishing was good and I had a blast. wish I could get up there more often.

Fished out of linesville today. Started at 7am and by 130pm had 1 18 in eye in the boat and caught about 6 small ones took a ride over to tuttle point. My partner and i limited out in less than 45 minutes all eyes were over 17 inches we only caught 3 small ones. Bottom bouncer with nightcrawler in 3 to 6 ft of water. Well i am off to port clinton to chase eyes. If anybody needs info i will be there. Just shoot me a text.

Fished Pymy out of linesville for the first time on Sunday evening for 3 hours and fished 8 hrs monday. Caught a 2 man limit and atleast a dozen other subs. Hot color was Pink. Mainly harnesses but hot n tots and jigs in color pink worked well too. Tuttle Point and Around the islands. We avoided other boats and it worked out! overall great day. Also caught a ton of crappie, perch and bass were mixed in. Great day of fishing!

The state record white bass is 3 lb. 15.7 oz. Do you think it was that big? It would suck if you caught a record fish and didn't know it. I have never heard of white bass in there, but who knows what gets thrown in there by people. Were the crappie decent sized?

Fished from 8AM to 2:30PM (when the storm hit). We boated a total of 32 fish between the two of us. We each caught 10 eyes. Of those 10, each of us caught 3 shorts. The rest were legal. We both let a 15.5" fish go and traded up for bigger ones. The rest of the fish were an assortment of slab crappie, perch (one jumbo), three small channel cats, and one white bass. What a great day! If that darned storm hadn't kicked up, I know that we would have hammered the crappie. Oh well. There's always next week! More than anything, I'm glad that I have a new fishin' buddy!

Thank you! I was pretty happy. If we hadn't been hit by that storm, we would have done even better. The bite was really on. However, I can't complain about what I didn't catch when what I did catch was so nice! I also need to remember that when applying sunscreen, not to forget to put it on my face... OUCH! LOL

Was anybody on the water sunday afternoon, when that storm blew in? The temperature dropped  about 15 degrees.  I saw white caps on my way out as l was approaching the causeway.  A bad knot on braid line cost me a giant fish Saturday night, while trolling.  I don't think it was a walleye. It hit like a steelhead, three BIG pulls and I felt the knot slip right out.  Im still pretty sick about it...............I know.

I fished 6/2/12. Rollers 12 straight hours. I was in the Pymie Sportsmans Club tournament. Missed the Crappie 1st place by 1/2 inch with a 13-1/2 incher We caught a few sub-legal eyes. perch.a smallmouth and a few catfish. I lost 3 good Musky lures to the stumps. The wind was relentless but for the most part we missed the rain.

Rippinlip, I was there in the tourny as well. Buddy and I caught 2 keeper walleyes (and a few smaller ones), 2 perch, 2 crappie, couple cats, and one white bass. Wind made it tough fishing, but we had a good time.

Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

I had a great time also. It was my first one and I can't wait till next year. I didn't know what to expect but now I know that anybody has a good chance to win with so many catagories.Did you see the nice size on those perch at the weigh [measure] in?I was also surprised that a Musky wasn't caught. We fished mainly the stumps. Did you stay down that end of the lake? I'll be moving around more next year. I didn't feel like fighting the wind and waves Saturday or I would have tried by the dam.

I just wanted to thank all the guys who were helping everyone load their boats when the big wind storm blew in @ 5pm Sunday at the Manning launch area. I never would have got my 16'er on the trailer safely without all your help!
