Laurel Hill Trout Farm

Visited LHTF with the kids, we all caught all bunch. I managed this 19.5" Pali. I know it's a trout farm, but it's still fun.

Yeah, maybe from public waters I might have considered a mount. But not from a pay 2 play place. But my girls love it. They get a real thrill catching them there. If u have kids its a GR8 place to break them in.

    Where is this pay lake?

The only thing better than 1 day of fishing is 2 days of fishing.

Get off Donegal exit of turnpike onto 31. Got past turn for 7 springs and head towards Hidden Valley. It is a few miles down on the right side. Very small sign and it sneaks up on you, but awesome place for the kids and grown up to mess around a little. They only take cash (no cards), you have to keep all you catch. $3.50 per fish, .25 to gut and remove heads. or .50 to fillet.  Or you can just take home and clean yourself.
Carefull, yo can go through a lot of cash. These fish are hungry. A few lunkers in there too.

left turn off the turnpike. about 4 miles on the right.

hey JEB, the country club i work for had me wading the creek behind the trout pond yesterday. we get some of our back-up irrigation water from the creek. i'm going to get permission to fish it. the club owns 100 acres on that side of 31. maybe next year we'll have to feesh that section of creek.

Moles, Is that trout farm on the left of rt.31 still open? I used to take my 5 kids up there & let them each catch 1 trout then go to kooser & grill the trout for lunch. Each kid loved to eat thier own trout. Was too expensive to do very often, but the kids loved it.  sam

honestly, i'm not really sure what's going on there anymore. i don't think they're doing anything. laurel hill trout farm put a hurtin on most local trout farms.
