Kinzua?

Anyone ever fish sugar bay up on kinzua? Heading up in a few days with the canoes. We'll be looking for eyes but anything that swims will do.

Little birdy told me lots of smallies, eyes and crappie were biting. Not Sugar Bay specifically though. Good luck.

Sugar Bay is the place to go in PA waters of Kinzua.
Bass, walleye, catfish and the occasional musky and stocked trout up the streams.
If the water is not too shallow try going back upstream in canoe
Beside the boat launch there is the remains of a bridge and a roadbed going out into the water.
Try to the weedbeds to the right or along either shore.
Some of the inlets have cribs or possibly Christmas trees.
You can get bait near the bottom of 321 at Slaven's to the Left or Hook Line $ Sinker to the right on W Washington St.
Both usually have minnows and crawlers

Try drifting the flats between Brothwell and Pigeon run, 10-18 ft zone with a jig and crawler this time of year for walleye
