Best tip is watch the reports. But other than that, need a little more info before giving you info. are you planning on fishing from a boat? Shore? As far as equipment, standard bass fare: Rapalas, etc. I do pretty well with that and a Mr. Twister in white or yellow.

sorry, i should have given more info..
We are fishing from a boat, big enough to leave the bay without any issues. I have typical LM bass gear, but will be looking for SM. I was told drop shot rigs and tubes would be my best bets? If i go with the drop shot, what baits are good (not live)?

You won't have any problem finding fish. I like a charcoal orange tube personally. Curly tails they will pound all day if you can troll them without snagging them up. Rapalas 5" I like too.. I don't fish Erie much from a boat but when i do we never leave the bay and do very well around perry and crooked(i think it's crooked). Ed

I think you mean Cascade? Crooked is west county.

BD, here is the map link. Think about inlets and coves. Good luck.

CB, you're right. We were pounding fish right out of the mouth there last year. I am coming down on Monday and Tuesday to fish the piers.. Anyone picking up fish off of North yet
