Son's biggest fish so far

Took a vacation day last Friday and took my son out fishing for his birthday. He caught lots of panfish and finished off the day with this accidental catch. Got some nice video of him holding it and of the release. Twas a beautiful day to be out. Some of ya'll might recognize this place.

    NICE! I'm taking my boy out on the boat at Crooked Creek tomorrow chasing Crappie. Hope he has as much fun as your boy looks like he's having.

    Also it will be our first time out out in the new-to-us boat we just bought Sunday, so that should be a blast all by itself.

    Might want to call the lake before you head out, as of today the lakes pretty high and i would imagine the launch is closed. Just a heads up...

    P.S. Nice catch eyesandgills! Hes hooked for life now!

    Thanks guys...he is pumped to get back out again and catch a bigger one. Creating a monster I think.

    Looks like I'll have to get him to the beach to catch some redfish and sharks in the surf.
    He'll really go ballistic when one of those hits the sand!
