the blue army was out in full force. at least 10 boats,
we really had to work for the walleyes we got but they were pretty decent 17 to 21 inches. ,we had beeb really doing great ay pymy.but wanted to get my boat out, a think a little more water at shenago would help. we seem to do better when its up.

Picked up a nice 26 incher in 4 fow at 11:30 in the morning right after another boat came into the spot and fished it.  I moved in after they left and 2 casts later had the hog.   Put it back.   Nothing in 2 other days of fishing except 1 muskiyethat broke 12 lb. test and it kept my lure.   And yesterday had something on that I fought for around 10 minutes and never did get to see what it was.   Maybe  large cat or striper.   It pulled the boat  good 100 yards before the line snapped.  Just couldn't get it slowed downed.

I've caught stripers that i had to chase down with my boat's trolling motor. They were pulling the boat so hard. With light line, you have to get after them or they'll spool you.

definitly was a striper.they will pull your boat and make long runs on your drag.best thing to do is let em run and enjoy the fight, there the strongest fish pound for pound in fresh water.also the fish that took your lure was probably a big pike.we have been catchin lots of them this year ,and they take your lure down and bite the line off.

Striper guy knows his stripers, and they will definitely pull the boat. They are in my opinion the best fight in fresh water.

Fish any of the blowdowns. They're all holding fish right now. ALL OF THEM.
