Beaver County Area Hot Spots

Hi, This is my first post here so I am new to this forum so sorry if this has already been posted somewhere but I live in the beaver county area and I used to fish religiously and kind of got away for a while but have recently gotten back into it. When I would fish before I would do alot of fishing at the harmony zelionople sportsmans club but I just dont know if I want to pay the $75 membership fee. I always had good luck there and I am more into catching bass and catfish and really anything else I am not much of a trout fisherman but I am looking for any other good spots around the area to do some general fishing and catch some bass. I mainly use live bait and dont use many lures although I will on occasion just not that good at fishing with a lure but just wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction. I am up for lakes ponds really any local spots that people have luck cathing bass and other kinds of fish. Thanks in advance.

the beaver and ohio rivers are the waters to fish. all the cats and smallies you can handle with a bunch of other species thrown in.

Raccoon Creek Lake is a decent place to fish. Not sure how many bass are really pulled out of there though.

I fished in the beaver river years ago and it was a pretty good time I caught some catfish and a striper which I thought was odd but I could go ahead and try the river again any particular spots? I have only been to raccoon once and didnt catch anything but I wasnt there very long so thats not really a good tell of how it is. Im basically just looking for some spots that are locally I mean I dont care if I have to drive a little but I just dont know that many other spots I know herford manor is drained and I hear conequinessen has went down hill. I fished conequinessen quite a few times and had some good luck but I heard it isnt what it used to be. I fished brady's run the other day and we caught a couple bass but they were very small I know they just redid the lake so I dont know how good the fishing will be. thanks for the suggestions already any other ones would be appreciated.

try below any of the dams on the beaver and on the ohio. Plenty of fish to catch.

Thanks for the replies I will probably try the river and see what kind of luck I have. Anyone know any good largemouth spots around? I dont care if they are lakes or ponds it really doesnt matter just trying to get back into fishing and I dont know any spots to go anymore. I like bass fishing the most but it is always fun to hook on to a nice catfish as well so thanks for the suggestions any other suggestions are appreciated.

Bass ?? large or smallies. If you live in Beaver Falls hit the Beaver River in Beaver Falls or below the New Brighton Dam, lots of smallies in there. Plus hybrid stripers, channel and flathead cats, walleye, sauger, saugeye, pike, muskie, carp, panfish(rock bass, bluegill & crappie), white bass, sheephead, suckers, gar, quilbacks.. ohh and I've caught largmouth in there too..... Bout the only thing I haven't caught outta there is a perch and bullhead cat. I even saw a trout caught there, obviusly in came in from Bradys run creek ,lol...
Did I miss any species guys ?????
