i think that rain that came through today was mostly from pittsburgh and to the south, so i would imagine its getting higher.  i might have some spare time on saturday morning to hit the yough myself.

This AM, I am surprised, it was about the same as last night, even after all that rain. Not saying it won't change by later today but it was definitely fishable and not too dirty this AM.

Thought about going down that way this morning until I heard the storms move through around 4am.

Be interesting to see how it is later today. Thanks for the updates eyes, you're saving me some gas money!

Thanks, I check that gage pretty religiously. Always like to hear first hand especially after some rain.

Looks like tomorrow morning should be okay. Hell, it's Friday, I gotta get some fishing in before the weekend

Fished It last evening and it was in decent shape. It's just slightly murky but I wouldn't let it stop me. Lot's of people out fishing the shore between West Newton and smithton.

In Connellsville it's good right now. A little high and just slightly stained. Almost perfect.

Sorry. Took a vac day today to take my son out for his 4th b-day and didn't go through sutersville. Did end up with a mess of nice crappies and bluegills and my son landed his biggest fish to date, a 3 lb large mouth.

Little breezy this am though and it was tough getting an anchor to hold. Calmed down nice late morning though.

Hit Whitsett this morning...i bit higher than "perfect" for my taste but very fishable....hocked a nice rainbow in the fast water that made for some fun and we managed to get into a few smallmouth as well...all in all a good time!

took family to cedar creek later....kinna hot to fish but had to..no luck...was just on shore and i never fished there before..but had fun watching the Little one (14 months) run around and play on swings afterwards so a great day!
