Ive been there twice this year. A month ago, the water was up and running out the over flow. I have yet to catch a fish. Very strange, not even a little pike. I'll be back in a few weeks. After this warmer weather this week, things should improve.

The last two years I have not done well out there at all, at any time of the year. Before that I had a blast out there with bass and pike. Don't know what happened.

Real funny buddy. Seriously though, I can usually find a bunch of pike with an x-rap or spinnerbait and crappie and bass with a jig and grub.

That lake has changed in the past couple years. Don't expect the crappies to be in the spots that look the best. There is a build up of a green slimy seaweed in a lot of the good crappie areas and the fish do not go in the spots anymore. I've done very well some days and not so good on other days this year.

Went up a few weeks ago with the kayaks and I caught a large mouth on a Rapala and my buddy caught a small northern on a tube jig. That was it.
