Boat launch Mckeesport

Does somebody know if the boat launches where the yough flows into the Mon are free access? If not where is the best place to launch for free in this area.

    It was free last time I was there.(bout 5yrs ago)

    It is free. You have to park behind the sewage plant and walk back down to the ramp. It is a pretty shallow ramp but ski boats use it all the time. You may see some "interesting" people down there...

    There's a boat launch in Elizabeth right under rt. 51 bridge that is free also.

    Is that one free? I thought that was a private launch for those docks. Is that a better ramp than the one up by the dam?

    I was referencing the one closest to the dam. It is much better than the **** hole in Mckeesport. The Mckeesport launch has 3 foot holes in it...

    still could use a dock at elizabeth tho. i always throw my hip waders on and kick all the rocks off the ramp before launching. seems to always be a ton of rocks on that ramp. i prefer that pool to the pool @ new eagle launch.
