Pymatuning Fishing Regulations

Anyone know what is off limits for fishing? Are there certain Marinas or mooring area's you are not allowed to fish in?

Dont go into the private mooring area down by Jamestown. (first one you come to if you put in at Jamestown and head North towards the causeway Sits on your left hand side) Guys are real ****s there and will kick you out no matter what. Sad thing is they **** and then try to get you to join their lil club so you can "fish there." Just a warning. Other then that try to keep away from private docks.

I'm sure you're talking about fishing from the shore line and not the water. Nobody owns the water and they can't enforce it. Someone told me too, that some body with money started their own club at Pymy and he built a cement dock some where up there by Epysville on the right side. I wouldn't fish there.

Do those wash over from the Ohio side?

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Well to be honest thats what I been told by everyone. They dont own the water but apparently they do. And Im fishing from a boat for bass around the docks since its great fishing. They will kick you out in a second. Im not b.s.ing you hahaha. I been thrown out probably a good 10 times and bass tourneys on the lake state in the rules to stay out of that area. Hey its just a forewarning. Give it a try and see what happens if you dont believe me! Also the gamewarden has told me if your lure hits the dock they can enforce a fine.
