coyotes!

There is a pack behind the house that howl every night.
I have to stay out with the dogs doing their business every night with my pistol in hand.
The wife came home from work the other night and there they were in my yard.
Thinking of setting up some evening with the spot light and a call.
I,m seeing deer running in daylight all the time. I believe its from these guys chasing them. Yesterday a small doe came shooting across the yard like the devil was after her.

What weapon would you chose for this?

I've got a small electronic caller, if you'd like to borrow it and give them a shot let me know.
Close range would be a 12 gauge, longer range would be the 223.....

00 Buck from my 10 gauge works wonder on the called ones. I prefer the .257 roberts for longer work.

Better too far back, than too far forward.
